4x6 photo size

How to

Make a 4 × 6 print file.

1Open your photo. Phone photos are 4:3, a little wider than 4 × 6 (2:3), so a strip is trimmed.
2Keep “One 4 × 6 in photo” to crop it to 4 × 6, or choose a passport or wallet size to fill the sheet with copies. Move the crop to keep what matters.
3Download the JPG (1200 × 1800 px, 300 DPI) and print it as a standard 4 × 6.

Your photo needs at least about 1200 × 1800 pixels to print sharply at 4 × 6. Any phone photo has far more. The aspect ratio matters more: a 4:3 phone photo loses a strip along its longer edges when printed at 4 × 6.
