Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Daniotech collects when you use daniotech.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it and what you can ask us to do with it. Use of the site is also covered by our Terms & Conditions.

Who we are

This site is operated by Danio LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, trading as Daniotech. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Our business address is 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE #5279, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. You can reach us at daniollc7@gmail.com or +1 (575) 570-1658.

What we collect

  • Contact and demo request forms: your name, e-mail, company and message, any interest, timeline or budget you choose, and the page you sent the form from.
  • Instant demo calls: the name, e-mail and optional company you enter before joining.
  • Booked meetings (DanioMeet): the details from your request, the times we offer and the one you pick, the e-mails we send you about it, and a text record of the session. That record holds join and leave times, events such as a muted microphone or a shared screen, the chat messages and the live-caption transcript. We also keep an access log of each opening of the meeting’s links: the time, the role the link grants, the IP address and the browser user-agent.
  • Technical data: the IP address and browser user-agent attached to a form submission, used to stop abuse, and the standard web server log of each request (IP address, time, page, referrer and user-agent).
  • Analytics: Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. It does not run on the call, meeting and host pages.

The free tools on this site run in your browser. What you type or paste into them stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Video calls

Calls are peer-to-peer WebRTC and encrypted end to end. Audio and video travel directly between the participants and are never recorded or stored by us. Our signalling service only relays the connection details needed to set up the call. If your network blocks a direct connection, the encrypted media may pass through Cloudflare TURN relay servers, which do not keep it.

On an instant demo call, chat is relayed live and is not kept after the call ends. On a booked meeting, the chat and the live captions are saved as meeting notes, and the join screen says so before you enter. The notes and your request message are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored. How we handle health data for clients is described on our HIPAA page.

Live captions use your browser’s built-in speech recognition. Depending on the browser, its maker (for example Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari) may process your speech to produce the text, under its own privacy terms. You can turn the microphone off at any time.

How we use it

We use personal data only to:

  • reply to your enquiry and arrange, hold and follow up on calls you ask for;
  • prepare proposals and carry out any work you engage us for;
  • keep the site and its forms secure and working, and stop spam and abuse;
  • understand, in aggregate, which pages people find useful.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract (enquiries, calls and project work); and our legitimate interests in running a secure website and understanding how it is used (technical data and analytics).

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes data on our behalf:

  • OVHcloud hosts the server that runs this website, the meeting database and our outgoing mail server, in its Singapore data centre.
  • Cloudflare provides DNS and network security, stores form submissions, and runs the call signalling and TURN relay.
  • Google hosts the company mailbox where enquiries arrive, and provides Google Analytics.

We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

International transfers

Danio LLC is registered in the United States and our engineering team is based in Pakistan. Our server is in Singapore and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and meeting records: up to 24 months, so we can follow up and keep a record of our correspondence, then deleted. If you become a client, project records are kept for as long as the agreement and the law require.
  • Web server logs: rotated and kept for up to 90 days.
  • Google Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years and let it tell new visitors from returning ones. We set no advertising cookies. The site also keeps one flag in your browser’s session storage so the opening animation plays only once per visit; it is deleted when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests. E-mail daniollc7@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you are in the UK or the EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have similar rights to know, correct and delete, which you can use the same way; we will not treat you differently for doing so.

Security

Every page and form is served over HTTPS, meeting pages open only with the private link we e-mail you, and access to stored data is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

This policy covers daniotech.com only. It does not cover other websites we link to, including the products we run on their own domains.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you by e-mail.
