Live demo · Defence and government supply
A desk for defence suppliers, from tender to acceptance.
For companies that represent foreign makers and bid for government defence tenders: the tender found on e-PADS, the principal's quote, the costing, the bank guarantees, the licences and the letter of credit, a late shipment, and the after-sales call two years later, in one system. Press play for a narrated run of about seven minutes, or use it by hand. Everything in it is invented and runs in your browser.
What the run shows
One tender, and everything around it.
A supplier's margin is won or lost outside the bid itself: in guarantees left out too long, papers that lapse, a clause nobody asked the maker about, and a shipment that slips. The run follows one tender at an invented supplier through all of it.
01
A service call before nine
A robot delivered last year is down at a user unit. The call lands on the contract it came from, so warranty, spare stock and the engineer are sorted in one press, with the claim to the maker drafted.
02
Tenders matched overnight
e-PADS and buyers’ sites are read every morning and matched to the makers the company represents, so nobody hunts through notices and nothing closes unseen.
03
Bid or no bid
Six questions with the company’s own weights: principal, specification fit, past supply, time, bid security against the bank limit, and competition.
04
A compliance sheet that answers itself
The specification is split into clauses and set against the maker’s datasheet. One request to the principal brings the price, the authorisation letter and the answer to the open clause.
05
Costing, security and papers
The quote becomes a costing sheet in rupees with freight, LC charges and an exchange buffer; the bid security is asked for and counted against the bank limit; standing papers are watched for expiry.
06
Two envelopes, opening and award
Technical and financial envelopes on e-PADS before closing, the opening recorded, and a contract whose milestones come from the tender’s own terms.
07
Guarantees that come back
The performance guarantee goes in on time, and the bid security is asked back the same day, because a guarantee nobody chases is limit the next bid can’t use.
08
A late shipment, worked out
When the maker slips five weeks, the dates move, the liquidated damages and the back-to-back recovery are worked out, and three letters are drafted before anything is lost.
09
Need to know and a log
Accounts sees the money, not the specifications. Restricted papers carry the reader’s name, and every action is in an append-only log.
Simulated here
What the demo pretends.
- /The supplier, the buyers, the makers, the people, the tender and every figure are invented. The procedure is the public one: e-PADS, single stage two envelope bids, bid securities, performance guarantees, letters of credit and liquidated damages.
- /The principal's and the bank's replies are played by the demo, and the calendar jumps when the run says so.
- /Nothing is sent anywhere: the letters are drafts, and the desk runs in your browser only.
In a build for you
What becomes real.
- /Your makers, product lines and price lists; your bid or no bid weights; your costing template; your bank and its guarantee limit.
- /Tender alerts from the portals you watch, principal mail threads filed to the right tender, and WhatsApp or e-mail reminders for every expiry.
- /Hosted where you choose, including your own server in Pakistan, with role-based access, encryption and an append-only log. More than one company and currency if you also trade from abroad.
